Specialising in Dahlias, there will be many new varieties of blooms coming in the spring this year, including Everlasting Daisies, Asters, Stock, Snapdragons, Sweetpeas, Cosmos, Calendulas, Cornflowers, Ranunculus, Poppies and Roses....just to name a few!
The farm is 175 acres of hill country where my husband and I run mostly sheep and cattle. As well as flowers, I am also passionate about agriculture, photography and my Speckle Park cattle. I have a degree in writing and photography, a Certificate III and Diploma in agriculture, and also studied floristry at floral art school.
My blooms are available for pickup from the farm, from various Farmer's Markets and also via local delivery. A flower subscription service will be available in the coming season, perfect for small businesses and offices (ie. hairdressers, cafes, reception areas etc), as well as for you in your home. Seasonal 'Buckets-of-Blooms' will also be available for those wishing to purchase a mix of flowers to arrange at home themselves.
This coming season there will be various workshops on offer such as bouquet making and a special "Dahlia experience" where you can learn all about growing and caring for dahlias, then pick your own and create a bouquet to take home. Farm tours and workshops will also be available for homeschool and horticultural groups.
Yours in Blooms,
Amber Rhodes
